This mobile is indeed compact and will travel well. Be sure whatever you attach it to is sturdy because this item is heavy and a bit awkward. Baby likes it, but even with the clip removed it looms too close when attached to the car seat handle. Our baby flinches because it is so bulky and "in her face" We like it anyway as the concept is a good one and will hope to find other applications for this neat travel mobile.
